This Signature is consistent considering a wide range of specific qualities including slant, flow, pen pressure, letter size and formation, and other characteristics typical of our extensive database of known exemplars we have examined throughout our hobby and professional careers. It is our considered opinion that the signature item is genuine.

🖋️ Ink & Medium

Pen Type: Black permanent marker, fine to medium tip.

Ink Behavior: Smooth, solid lines with uniform saturation — no visible skipping or ink drag. The glossy finish suggests it was applied cleanly to photo stock in a single session.

✍️ Signature Flow

The “Faye” portion has a gentle forward slant with balanced, rounded lettering — a sign of natural, practiced writing.

The “Reagan” portion shows continuous rhythm, with the capital “R” executed in a bold, looping style characteristic of confident pen control.

The linking between both names appears unbroken and fluent, showing that it was written with ease rather than hesitation.

🧩 Stroke & Pressure Characteristics

Flow: Strong and consistent; the letters move with steady pace and natural spacing.

Pressure: Moderate to firm — visible in the even ink thickness across strokes.

Pen lifts: Minimal; the motion appears smooth, with one clean lift between first and last name.

🔍 Authenticity Indicators

The confident line weight and natural rhythm indicate a live, hand-signed autograph.

The slight variation in downstroke width and smooth tapering at letter ends point to real marker motion.

The stylistic elements (the looping F, elongated R, and consistent baseline) align closely with authentic Faye Reagan signings.
