This Signature is consistent considering a wide range of specific qualities including slant, flow, pen pressure, letter size and formation, and other characteristics typical of our extensive database of known exemplars we have examined throughout our hobby and professional careers. It is our considered opinion that the signature item is genuine.

🖋️ Ink & Medium

Pen Type: Metallic gold paint pen or oil-based Sharpie.

Ink Behavior: Dense pigment with uniform opacity. Reflective quality indicates a metallic marker applied on semi-gloss photo stock. The ink sits cleanly on the surface with no pooling or bleed — a good sign of proper application and fresh pen condition.

✍️ Signature Flow

The “Ingrid” section (written with a long sweeping “I”) shows fluidity and personality. The extended lower loop beneath the “I” transitions naturally into the “n,” suggesting practiced confidence.

The “Steeger” portion has larger, well-formed capitals, consistent with her known authentic signature structure — pronounced S, smooth double “e,” and a strong finishing “r” hook.

The flow maintains consistent rhythm throughout, with no hesitation or mechanical stops.

🧩 Stroke & Pressure Characteristics

Flow: Natural, steady pace — no visible tremor or lift artifacts.

Pressure: Moderate, firm on downstrokes, easing at transitions — typical of a natural, controlled hand.

Pen lifts: Logical break between first and last name; no artificial separation, indicating a single-session signing.

🔍 Authenticity Indicators

Smoothness, even ink weight, and natural variance in letter size all point to a hand-signed autograph.

The stylistic flair in both the “I” and “S” is consistent with other verified Ingrid Steeger examples.

The inclusion of a date in similar ink color and pressure further supports an in-person or direct signing.
